BLACK-and-WHITE photography

Black-and-white

Black and White photographs, made with conventional means. The used film is mostly T-max 100 of Kodak, which is very flexibel and which allows under- and over-exposure. I have been working with it for many years, because the medium black and white is pre-eminently creative. Eventual I have switched to digital photography, because my hobby was too expensive and digital photography is very well suited for the black and white medium. All images of this gallery are dating from somewhere between 1976 and 1996, before the digitale era.

Before viewing the pictures please check the contrast adjustment on your monitor. You can use my test strip below which I have designed for this purpose. For best viewing, use a gamma value of 2.2 and set the contrast control mode in a position until each individual black and white square (16 in total) is visible.
